5-AXIS PROJECT WATERJET CUTTING MACHINE

PHENIX TECHNOLOGIE launches version 2 of its 5-axis module equipping all PRO JET 5-Axis waterjet cutting machines.

Developed in early and mid-2018, this new mechanical structure has been available since September 2018.

Phénix Technologie 5-axis hydro-abrasive cutting centers are equipped with the Phénix Technologie X5 system.

This system automatically compensates for jet delay and eliminates the flare (see images below) induced by jet taper.

The X5 system has two rotary motors that allow the head to tilt on axes A and B. The cutting head can therefore pivot in

all directions by compensating for imperfections in the jet using complex mathematical models.

Axis A: 1 Rotating axis
Axis B: 1 Rotating axis

The 5X Phénix Technologie system can obviously be fitted to the entire range of PRO JET machines regardless of the size of the cutting table and also for the production of chamfered parts.
